DP has a digital SLR, and it will be coming to Melrose. Its his favourite subject atm so he is very happy to play :-) (he’s found a couple of ‘sites where you can post you pictures and get comments on them, and leave comments for others, so its just as well for blogs etc. as it gives me something to do; lol!!

My main complaint would be that in images where there is bright backlight, or well highlighted areas of apicture it gets rather over exposed. At the mo – I am saving (ha, ha) for a digital SLR (a canon). The A95 looks pretty good, I think the A80 is discontinued but probably pick it up on ebay.

Like the photo….though it doesn’t look quite in focus ;-)

Sarah, the photo was taken with a Canon A80 digital camera. The photo was colour, I turned it into black and white, using Photoshop Elements 3. she has had a cold recently, and has varius dry bits of ‘stuff’ on her face. I did do a little retouching to remove them, but not to alter the physical features. Shot with natural light cropped in close, I just managed to get some nice light (late afternoon winter sun soon setting – coming from the side) and A didn’t pull any stupid faces :-)
