Well, current state of play (00:40 – H has just come home and BB having a good nosh) is that the spots seem to be a lot less so maybe it is heat rash or some such? Not sure. will see how things are in the morning and see what GP thinks.
now Helen – I think [now] it is prob heat rash as subsided a great deal. she’s not at all unwell or out of sorts, no temp etc. she has had a heat rash since sat, and now looks much more like that again. however will get ‘real’ doc to look at it, and if any doubt safest not to come – as there are a number of known pregnant women, apart from the unknown.

don’t worry karen, posted as we wanted to make sure not coming was the right move! as not coming and then people saying it would have been ok would be worse!

Karen, you have nothing to feel guilty about, I fully understand your position. Do not worry about it.

BB doesn’t seem bothered by it at all, was up bouncing on Nanny’s knee until about 10 pm. Me and Helen haven’t had much time to discuss this yet as she is on call tonight. Hope she can return in bit.

Really sorry, guys. If you still get to go, I have found reference number for camping spot … hope maybe it turns out to be just a rash and nothing more! Hope BB stays well in herself, whatever it is.

Helen and Chris just came over again to say how sorry I am that little BB is ill. I am also feeling guilty for saying that I don’t want Emma exposed to measles/rubella at this time either. I had this when I was young and I don’t think I developed any side effects (other people may tell me otherwise!). I am really worried about whether the single vaccine has worked and need to get a blood test done to see if she needs the booster which I must do soon. Hope it is something minor (if anything) and that BB recovers very soon. xx
