Scandinavia is quite expensive – I remember watching a travel programme years ago where the presenter was in Norway and commented you needed to take out a small mortgage just to buy an icecream.

I’ve looked at Denmark a few times as I’d love to live somewhere on mainland Europe, but haven’t been able to convince hubby (I’ve no chance of getting him to northern Norway, where I’d really love to go – although I did see a job advertised on Svalbard which would’ve fitted the bill).

Glad to hear you’re having a good time – and there are still worse places for veggies to be.
