There has been a bit of a 'tummy thing' doing the rounds here - maybe she's just got a bit of virus? We've spent many a long evening fretting about eating issues with a certain child here. In the end I always decide that the best thing to do is not to make too much of it and just aim for maximum relaxation and happy times. I've had several close friends with eating issues when I was younger and it is one of my biggest fears as a parent, so I do understand your concern.

Hmm, to wailing about sweets! could it just be taht the healthy eating ethic is so deeply ingrained taht the thought of eating something "bad for her" is as distasteful to her as the thought of eating something that is actually poisonous or something? Small girls' minds work in such odd ways sometimes! i think it'd be tempted to just watch and wait for a week or so as long as she's eating teh healthy stuff. Hope the tummy ache settles for her.
