Looks good, doubt I’d be able to make that one though. This orchestra thing is great but it ties up all our Saturdays - think it will be finished for the year by the July date but in October we’ll be tied up again.
Missed this thread! Yes October one does look good, though not sure about camping in October! Also our Saturdays I think might be tied up with Gymnastics. Still not sure about how many they can miss without being moaned at.
Should be at the July one, is already in diary, might not be at the Festival of History though, as it is the same weekend that Matt might be playing at Latitude Music Festival, in which case we’ll take the kids to that and camp with you guys either before or after. If he doesn’t get on to play, then we’ll be at the whole thing!
well, hope he gets to play, though would have been fun otherwise! saw the camps posting. def doesn’t have statics, and is quite basic for longer stays = 10 mins walk to nearest toilet block, [portaloos closer] and no obvious showers - though there is possibly 1 somewhere. not sure what the upgrades to site are - a closer tiolet block ideal!
Nic- yes you have to book, though as H says there was plenty of space and we’d only booked in the week before even for an august weekend. There are not really any proper facilities which I guess put most people off. And they don’t really promote the campsite that much AFAICS
They have said on their site that they were going to do some improvements but not sure what they were going to be, nor if they have been done.
Bum. Just been through dates and realised that Steve is working so we can’t come after all. Unless I get the guts together to tow and come on my own. Which I might, who knows.

yeah that does look good. Depending on weather we’d be up for house guests that weekend if it’s too cold for camping by then :).

I’ve just dropped them an email.
