I&#039;m not convinced about the thumb sucking, bottle, teeth thing.  Some of us are just going to have wonky crowded teeth that will need work to make straight.  C def will.  She is already a bit bothered by her front teeth and has had a comment so she knows the brace is necessary.]]></description>

I didn&#039;t manage to persuade Maddy on to a dummy at all, only her thumb would do. I think if the thumb is the thing then you are stuck with it. Maddy has given hers up now, having decided that she can manage without it so as to avoid braces. We never suggested that or put pressure on her to do so but other people must have said it to her and we only discovered it when she sobbed that she wanted to suck it one day.

At which point we broke it to her that as she clearly has Max&#039;s teeth, she&#039;d need braces anyway!!!!]]></description>
