I didn’t game (but thanks again to Kirsty for playing Memoir 44 with Ernest, he’s still talking about it :) ) but never felt out of anything. Though there was a slight lack of cake ;-)

I did flick back through the brightkites and the stories of the journeys home made me grateful again that I have swapped over to public transport! We got on the bus to Berwick on Friday lunchtime and all promptly fell asleep :)

I needed a one on one session and managed to play pandemic with Babs before Melrose which meant I felt easier about playing with all those serious gamers! I’m still not sure about the games of carcassonne and all the remarks I got while playing it!

I absolutely loved Melrose, I don’t care so much about the drive as I adore Scotland and any excuse to visit there again.

The journey is just too much to spend time with friends none of whom live further than half that distance away.
Games really not our things either although I could have been a stitcher on the sidelines ;)
