for putting up yourself def the vango is easier [much] though khyam more spacious. you can stand in vango venture sleeping bit easily, and just in the sitting bit

gives a good idea! not overly roomy.
i love the stability of a khyam mind you, and with a bit of help from H just while you get the legs pegged in [as i find the khyams harder to control with a wind on first pitching!], and the wayfarer is a flexi rather than rigidome, so i think they’re easier… so i think i would go for khyam if likrly to have at least a bit of help, but vango if none at all as a doddle to pitch quickly.
i like the look of these though…

So… nothing at all about your post, but just wanting tent advice. We are off to HESFES this year – tickets bought, so no backing out – and I need a new tent. We have a 20 year old canvas bungalow, which I love, but can’t even lft out of the car by myself. So…. for ease of putting it up by myself, would you recomend a khyam rigidome (the one I’m looking at is a second hand wayfarer), or the vango venture 500? Either way, I need head room! Many thanks for all advice. xx

Snort. Don’t believe that. Apparently our current car was caught speeding in Cornwall on the same day as our last, written off, off car was caught in Cambridgeshire. And a completely made up one was also caught in the same place on the same day. In fact, the made up one was caught in 5 different places in the UK all on the same day.

Good job i’m feeling less stressed out than i was last night.
