Boomwhackers are fairly sturdy but go out of tune if they get bent. Standing on them is the obvious way to hurt them, most other things seem ok. Tbh, I think I might see them as ‘disposable’ for now and just replace them later if they get too damaged to be useful – that’s more or less the way mine will go, with S, I expect!

giggle, well now done books 1 and 2 [1p plus postage from amazon as a 2 booker!!] and yes, book 2, well TBH there was a fair bit of padding in the story line! will scout around for 3 from library

Coincidence- I’m on book four after Lucy raved about them and insisted I read them. Got a bit bored with the sex on number 2 but hooked back into the story again on number 3 and am enjoying number 4 and have 5 already here waiting (all library for me, obviously).
Feel like I’ve learnt loads from them and it tied in with D and S getting really into cavemen too.
Jean Auel must be getting on a bit though, I think there has been speculation about someone else taking up the writing of subsequent books.
