What a shame; it always sounded like such an exceptionally good home ed group. I’ve always wished there were enough interested people around here to do something similar. I’m sorry to read that the children were upset. At least you still have the strong friendships. *Hugs*

You all put in so much and got out so much. It was fantastic and something to be incredibly proud of. I can imagine the heavy hearts now (even I feel sad!) but I’m sure that at some point in the future you will create something else, just as inspiring and amazing, to fit your needs.

Thanks for putting it into words; I agree that perhaps we tried to achieve too much and that hopefully when we’ve all had some time to enjoy the social side of our friendships again it will be possible to pick up some new form of it. Certainly the kids made it very clear yesterday how much they enjoy their time together and I think that to let all that slip would be a bad thing. I enjoyed just being able to sit around and chatter too.

Although we have only been part of latinetc for a short time we have really valued the time and effort put in by everyone involved. Lovely for all the children to spend time playing, laughing and having fun today. A day of mixed emotions for all. A v difficult post to write helen x
