Love the colour of this one (ime linen does softens up a lot with wear & washing). I like box pleats, I think they lay better.

Assuming it is “allowed” for whatever period you are doing, I have to admit I much, much prefer box pleating! Always have. Love the look of the fabric, it’s almost a shame that most of it will be hidden under a kirtle.
