Must do tie dying with C. She's been asking for ages. Years! I loved machine dying all my newly acquired towels :-).

The advantage of a blogging family is that the exchange is very well recorded and I know C's Maman found that very comforting when we had their daughter. She could see and had photographic evidence of how much R was doing as in the telephone conversations R would forget all the many things she had done!

hurray for tye dye etc, I don't care if it's a Home Ed cliche, it's one of our favourite things to do (in fact, it felt very very odd not to whip out the elastic bands when I was overdying my Kentwell wools!)

Hugs for the other bits though. It's a shame that the other side of the En Famille exchange weren't sold on the idea of home ed as it happens in your house (I suspect their fears would be more than founded in ours, structure not being something I am good at providing!) Here's hoping that someone else equally suited to your family will pop up quickly.
