this says for ages 8 and above, but looks interesting – as well as fairly cheap!
hass anyone used them? I only ask, as SB and cousin M had a real thing this hols about excavating dinosaurs.
have done a home ed day on camera today, s will blog again later
we’ve had several of these – as Davies has been dinosaur mad for about 2 years now. First one was from Hawkins and quite good – looks a bit like the ebay one, although it did take *forever* and he did lose interest in it really Then for christmas last year he had a couple of tiny ones also from Hawkins which were better but the digging stuff was a sort of chalky block which made loads of mess and went all powdery everywhere. Last one he had was one brought back from Thailand by my parents which was awful – it was like a brick and we just couldn’t chip anything off it let alone him. we ended up soaking the stuff off just to get to the plastic dinosaur toy
I’d recommend the Hawkins one – will go and see if I can find a link…
