  1. Am I allowed to make snotty remarks about IQ tests in general and this one in particular? (and no, I haven’t done it!)

  2. woof, who’s a clever girl then! :)

  3. assuming that that was Helen of course….

  4. not a great believer in value of iq tests or what they are allegedly measuring either heather. however, the format is often one i actually enjoy [logic puzzles] so usually do well. my rather clever aunt hates them so usually comes out special needs. So be as snotty as you like!! Especially as it was written for an american market, so not culture sensitive either – no idea myself on nickels and dimes.

but i do like the blogring memes!!!

And since this is read by colleagues at work occaisionally, had better look good!!

23:42 just redid it with dfferent nickle dime answers, and that was the q i got wrong. bath time!

  5. Yeah, I got that one wrong as well. I’d have been even cleverer otherwise ;-)

  6. “Thank god it is ok” LOL a bit more than ‘OK’ surely!?
I got annoyed at the nickels/dimes thing being cultural and didn’t finish it. Maybe I’ll go back.

  7. Clearly itsa quite accurate – its got me down to a tee ;) And proved that everyone else is cleverer than me too.

maybe i’ll go back to organising camps… hmmmm….

  8. mery, don’t you dare beleive it!!
the logical bit was too cultural
the verbal bit was lexicon based rather than understanding and usage of language
it was too short to have any validation!!

  9. and IQ tests in general have been proven to test a very narrow definition of intellect, largely unrelated to innate intelligence and fail to consider the all important emotional intelligence. Something I rate very highly, but have *very* little of :-)

Any chance of a password? I can’t remember for the life of me what you said it was ages ago on Merry’s blog.
