96%

96% being the amount of our Flickr 2GB monthly upload allowance we (moslty H) have got through so far……. (Not I hasten to add all taken this month)

The whole tagging/sets etc. thing has really appealled to Helen’s organising/list making tendencies :-)

  1. Hmm, not the List Queen for nothing. Still loads to upload and sort sweetheart.
I’ve set up some new sets, so that I can gradually sort photos in a best of set [max 100 do you think?] I will accept comment nominations!!

Long term, I am wondering whether to have only the ‘best of’ sets and the blogged photos set available to all and sundry, and the rest to family and friends [ friends will be anyone whose name I recognise - you may need to have a fre flikr account though], as I think due to the vast number of photos we take, our whole life is rather laid out. Not overwhelmingly fussed about it at the moment, but it is that Truman show thing. not in a hurry to change things yet, as do mark some completely private, and some family and friends already.

I don’t think I have utilised the tags well enough in the already uploaded though. The sets function is good, but I WISH you could reorder in date taken rather than uploaded.

  2. Other flickr-ites ahve wished such a thing, hopefully wil arrive before too long

  3. 96%!!! I think I’ve only used 4% this month, which is my first pro month. And I thought *I* was doing a lot of uploading.

  4. um, you can re-order in date taken, can’t you? just check that box in the organizr?

didn’t work for me though as the naff camera I used for most of my older digi pics didn’t record the date!

  5. no, that reorders them just in organizr for the sets

  6. confused about what you want to do then?

  7. have them organised permanently in the photostream itself in date taken order rahter than date uploaded.
