night with BB so crap that eventually Chris dragged her off to spare room.
we pottered about in the morning – some red nose readers and usborne farmyard stories.the went to Chris’s parents.
they have moved to be near us, and it was my first chance to see their new home. Chris and the girls have been once ? twice? It was certainly a much easier drive, though we were late.
SB settled to some colouring initially, then playing with the farm animals, and then ‘reading’ the books Nana got for her. BB had fun furtniture walking and just being delightful. ALthough chris went out to get more terracotta pots and UHU, he could only get the UHU, so a quick nip to the garden centre tomorrow, as I don’t know if Karen O will be coming or not. The weather forecast has gone off somewhat – terrific storm today though! i hope we get to do the dig after all.
Chris Uncle Ivor and Aunty Barbara also were visiting – though got there quite late, so that we left later than planned. Aaarrgh to house prep for tomorrow. Merry is aware of my general standards [or lack thereof] but also have Tammy visiting!
