I am soooo fed up with them. Having a pond a bad idea – though the fish lovely, and BB always pretending to be a frog on a ‘leappad’. Aaarghh [scratches everywhere!]
Whilst I’ve been at work, there has been painting, a bit of maths and writing, lots of reading, DS-ing and ballet restarted.
On returning SB has done some violin practice – wailed hugely about doing it, and then was v pernicketty about getting it right beofre carrying on, so did way longer than I suggested – all v happily.
Make your own pizza for tea. Listening to french CD about colours. SB is now ds-ing rather than any joint activity, so I am feeling loose endish! BB asleep.
we had a record 1.5hr violin practice yesterday, not happily! ah well.
Hate mossies too, all of us got bitten loads on holiday so I sympathise – at least it stopped when we got home though, I’d hate to have them at home aswell!
We are infested round here too Aparently it’s a bumper year for them with all the sogginess. I’m not sure it would be your pond’s fault – goldfish consider the nymphs to be “snacks on the hoof” usually.
Is the pond large? Would there be any way to make sure the water is moving around? Here in Singapore we’ve got brochures coming out our ears about mosquitoes, solely due to the rise in Dengue cases. Oh, to only worry about mosquito bites itching!
that sounds dreadful Raihanah.it is a ,moderate sized pond i guess. we keep the fountain always going, and there are goldfish. but with the pond plants, always some still water I guess.
