Copenhagen!

well, here I am at the conference, taking a short break to type a blog – as I am so dedicated. Actually the conference on the whole very interesting, and itsthe lunch break, so not skiving.

the other beans were planning a canal cruise today whilst I work hard at keeping updated. [these keyboards aren’t quite the same, so a few spelling errors creeping in. [also doing my best to show off by typing as fast as is huanly possible for me.]

Anyway, we had a fab time looking around copenhagen yesterday. SB walked a really long way without too much whinging. Copenhagen full of babies, buggies and really bril bikes with buggy/baby seating arrangements [chris going green]. Massively expensive living costs though, even in Netto

oh, and Jax, you are in SO much trouble – a little matter of travel kettle, as to get hot drink we have to shell out 3.50!!!! so mostly drinking water and getting caffeine fix at conference [well i guess it is good for me!] [i hope we aren't hibernated??]

going to join lunch queue – faint hopes for vegetarians.

  1. I noticed your kettle in the boot this afternoon….oops….

    Nope, you aren’t hibernated :)

  2. There are some fantastic Danish makes of bikes (and Dutch) if you want any links to websites, just let me know – I’ve been hankering after a trike (with child seating) for ages! Scandinavia is quite expensive – I remember watching a travel programme years ago where the presenter was in Norway and commented you needed to take out a small mortgage just to buy an icecream.

I’ve looked at Denmark a few times as I’d love to live somewhere on mainland Europe, but haven’t been able to convince hubby (I’ve no chance of getting him to northern Norway, where I’d really love to go – although I did see a job advertised on Svalbard which would’ve fitted the bill).

Glad to hear you’re having a good time – and there are still worse places for veggies to be.
