Well, the arrival of Alys aka Butterbean, our new daugter, seems like as good time to start as any. She eventually arrived:
2 weeks late, Helen was induced so no homebirth 
– but did the home from home unit, with a nice big bath/pool, labour progressed so quickly I only just got back in time (born about 20 minutes after I got there, much to our surprise). Anyway, she is gorgeous 
Home quickly as we could – born 00.22 a.m., home by about 10.00 a.m
So she joins our first daughter Elinor – aka Stringbean, as we stagger from one life event to another…..
Stringbean has been very excited about the baby for ages – she used to talk to it through mum’s belly button. She truly is her mothers daughter – pretty much the first thing she said when we brough Butterbean home was ‘can I take a photo’ – do we take the odd photo of her I wonder…..?
