This mornings viewers have just put in an offer at full asking price - to include greenhouses, carpets and fittings, but lets not quibble! [value of perhaps 2-3000? but its not as if you can easily reuse fitted carpets, and I'd never conisdered lifting the laminate floor - do people do that? We were including shed and one of greenhouses anyway, the other greenhouse we were going to donate to friends, but they will understand]
Sold in 12 days - maybe we should have made asking price higher! Just kidding, as v happy with result, and house down road at 5000 more been on market 3 months [though dated decor]
Chris and I dancing around house, SB thinks we are mad! Where is that champagne!!!!!!!
We obviously accepted, but as don’t have viewers number who is coming in an hour, we will let him view and tell him we have a full asking price offer.
Wooooooohoooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[I am excited!]

That’s excellent! Should make buying another house rather more straight forward

Dunno, but when we bought our current house we offered the asking and it was initially accepted until we found out they wanted another grand for carpets! We pulled out on principle. (Then gave in two weeks later when we couldn’t find anything better and realised that we *really* wanted *this* house which was still up for grabs.)

We priced on the reasonable side particularly to get a swift sale - after all, I start my job may 2nd, so we will all have to be down there for then, even if in rented. So it seems best to aim for quick straightforward no messing, and hopefully buy the same way [another reason to forget the house that wont let us view], rather than lose money on 2 lots of removal men, and rent if we can possibly help it. Though since it sold quicker than in my dreams, I do think perhaps I should have gone up another 2000!! Still below one down road and inclusive of fittings price. Too late now, and who can predict house sales??

thinking about the flooring - I’ve moved into houses where they’ve taken every last light bulb with them, wouldn’t surprise me at all if someone would lift flooring. Not something I would do though.

Congrats, I hope it all goes smoothly! As for the fittings, when we moved into our second to last house they had taken everything including the ends off the television aerials and the turf from the garden. Can you believe it? We couldn’t but as “grass” hadn’t been specifically mentioned anywhere apparently there was nothing we could do! This time the estate agent thought we were mad when we made specific enquiries about turf but we weren’t getting caught like that again!
