Good news about the work situation - have never had to leave a bf babe myself and would have hated to be stressed about feeding so really hope the nuk bottles work for you all.

I’ve done the leaving babe, and it’s a whole load of no fun…but I think, like Jan, that she’ll drink if she wants to.

Really pleased for you about the flexible working; I can imagine that it will take some getting used to for all of you (and probably you most, Helen)but I must confess to having career envy!!

The work-life balance is a tricky thing and although I *love* what I’m doing now, I have half an eye to a future when it’s practical with our family set-up for me to think careers.

I think 3 days work is fairly ideal for me. not manageable for work so gone for 4. my clinical director fought hard on my behalf - tankyou v much! poss ‘cos a mother too she was more receptive.

I do love my career, but it wasn’t a very good choice family wise iyswim!
