I’ve just bought (well put down the deposit) one of these, for me and Stringbean 
No we can’t really afford it right now, but the bikeshop was selling it significantly reduced as he has had it in stock since the beginning of the summer and wanted shot of it really. Pretty cheap, and nothing fancy for a tandem, but for the tootling about we will do it should be fine. With BB hitched up behind in the trailer, should look good.
Will you not need a “Long Vehicle” sign on the back of it…..
Eek, a tandem *and* a trailer? That sounds like hard work to me…
Oh, that looks fab. Hannah and Bob love tandems. She rides a full sized adult bike now (mine), but Bob likes her under more control in traffic. They’ve just been hiring so far though. Do you happen to know if they had either large/large or large/medium as well as large/small, as we could be tempted if the price was right
If I’m lucky,. it may slow him down enough for me to keep up!
Sorry Joyce, this was the only one they had. He was bemoaning the fact that he could have sold plenty of the larger size , but no one seemed interested in the kiddieback.
Maybe they should join the tandem club and look out for secondhand one

We had a tandem once but never used it, when we sold the last house we sold it to the new owner, don’t imagine he has been on it much being blind (well perhaps on the back….).
There are people who specifically take out blind/partially sighted people on the backs of tandems etc.

Yeah, Hannah has the most muscular legs I’ve ever seen on a kid. Bulging calves isn’t in it, LOL
