   Not sure it is spam in the traditional sense….I appear to be one of their 5 contacts!

   I think that’s my dad! (Was my first thought on clicking on your link, and then looking at the contacts seems to confirm it.)

   How did he spam you with it though?

   is it?? i just assumed it was random spam. i just got a look at my pictures link in a comment box , and they are all the tsetse fly image, so presumed they were mass commented.
   is it your dad??
   i suppose i jumped to spam as all the pictres the same, and have been wondering how long before flickr comment boxes are spammed

   117 photos of a tsetse fly…. hardly spam as they are uploaded on 2 different days and the guy seems to be on quite a few groups – some of which I’m on and I haven’t noticed him spamming or even trolling those groups… http://www.flickr.com/people/33058990@N00/
   he’s only made 4 contacts in the 3 weeks he’s been around.
   maybe it’s just a joke? or an excuse to join groups? maybe he’s a yahoo member who’s moved over to flickr?
   no favourites either…
   not worth the block biton unless he’s making unwanted comments on your photos IMHO

   weeeelllllll, ok not the full spam, but still, an odd thing to do, to post a tetse fly link to unknown person. Spam until proven otherwise, even if a low volume.

   Well, I still think it’s my dad – his idea of a joke So you’re not an unknown person Helen, you’ve been to his house! I thought it was funny too – look at my photos, and then there are 117 copies of a photo of a trsetse fly? How could you not find that amusing?

   And hello Quadrapop – have just realised you aren’t a man! Nice to meet you here and elsewhere, as well as on Flickr.

   It could well be your Dad, and then I’ll be happy, as I do know him! I think its dengue fever association that makes me think its nasty. I guess you’re right in thqat it seems more of a sense of humour thing than spam. SO I’ll still be waiting for the first flickr spammer then!

   And also hello quadrapop – I unmoderated you after nipping to your blog. Very nice. Don’t know that i am an unschooler. Think i might be a continuum unschooler [ie mostly autonomous, but some suggestions!]
