Well, why not. I tried to do it fairly quickly so that it is off the cuff rather than deeply studied – as that way I don’t have to go aarrghh whenever soemone says something I think I should have put in.
It actually reminded me [not that i need much reminding] about how lucky I am in my life.

1. travel round world with family ? better save for a sabbatical!

hmm, books keep popping into my head, so obviously that category is the most fluid – i like the gameplayers of Xan – one of chris’s books that he brought to our relationship. i do like the kathy reichs books as well – deja dead etc. philip pullmans trilogy was absoultely superb! I am a book fiend. I do enjoy the classics – i actually did enjoy war and peace – though anna karenina better, but i don’t reread them alot now – perhaps because when i get the opportunity to read, i want to escape not concentrate!
the gate to womens country Sb will get on first incling she is turning into a teenager. maybe one for the 10 year olds – though written i presume for an adult market – these things are so fluid these days?
And what about penelope lively’s books – that i will enjoy rereading with sb, the narnia series – i loved the bagthorpe family, and rofl’ed so much that my mother shouted it was time to fall asleep [mind you, I did have lotr confiscated for burning the bed with my bedside lamp!] I love books!!

I loved Out of Africa very much too. Glad to find another Truly, Madly, Deeply fan. I haven’t read any of the books you mention, apart from the Austin. Classics lover here too, but prefer Hardy to Austin.

I was torn between wanting to be asked and not wanting to think about it, but i’ll have a go now. don’t think i know 7 ppl who haven’t done the questions yet though
got first thomas covenant book at midle school – i think mum only read the dustjacket saying it was like lotr! can remember buying the second one with a mound of 2p pieces from piggy bank – rofl!
