No redundancy.

I had phonecall from Helen’s direct boss at work tonight – late? – about 10pm, so presumably post their MAC meeting (Management and Consultants) to say that they have said their are going to be no consultant? redundancies, so that is? bit of relief for us. (Some 30 odd other redumdancies were annnounced earlier in August amongst other staff at the hospital mind).

Though we wait with bated breath to see what the outcome is for hospital as a whole in the coming months and years…..

  3. Oh that must be such a relief for you- even if there’s no long-term assurances, at least you know you’ll have an income for now!

  4. Yeah, it’s a bit of a relief. It’s been a real pain how it has dragged on. and we’ve been turning ourselves inside out trying to decide on the interview for the job in Torguay and second guess what was/is goign to happen.
