If you hire it out I *think* you then need to have either a Passenger Vehicle operator’s licence or a special permit thingy. And no doubt insurance would be more complicated / expensive etc.
Either of those would be adequate for me. Getting a double-decker bus across the Irish Sea might be a little tricky though.
I was *supposed* to be looking at nine-seaters today, but a) I’m sick and b) the car wouldn’t start this morning so dh didn’t get to work and I’m not going anywhere. Will have to go, um, whenever the current car comes back from the mechanic, I suppose :-/
