If I knew what you were talking about that would probably make so much more sense….. ho hum, I think it’s my turn for custody of the remote control one day next week….
the apprentice. Kristina is my choice all along. I thought it would be perhaps her and katie in the final, with simon as wild card. had thought naomi a poss other contender
We thought Sir Alan was just very clever in the way he said ‘you’re in’, therefore she got the feeling of winning, and then seemingly manipulated her to pull out. Of course you don’t really know who was in control, Sir Alan, the BBC, but I doubt it was Katy, somehow.
Hadn’t realised she was from Exeter, I’m quite worried I could bump into her in town or something … !
she works for exeter met office or something now i believe.
well, except it was a game show not an interview that bit. I am not totally sure of legalities though, but guess they had that one covered somewhere. The last winner left when she got pg by a fellow contender [though she unfortunately lost that baby] - info from wikipedia, so may not be correct!
but yes, I couldn’t and wouldn’t ask any such questions. TBH shouldn’t she have thought of that before anyway?
but I was just gobsmacked - she certainly went really quiet.
I was asked at my pre-interview meet how many children i planned to have [totally illegally!] i said less than 7.

Doesn’t Sir Alan say in the opening sequence thatit’s not a game show, it’s a job interview? (Although I got that from Alpha Mummy so I’m not sure!) But yes, I’m sure you’re right that the BBC lawyers went through that bit carefully.
I didn’t like her but I did feel sorry for her. Would have thought 90K a year would be enough for her to pay for some childcare!
he does, but there are prob lots of caveats! and yes 90k covers a nanny. but i think one of the probs is that they work for a while between that interview and he final episode - so perhaps moving family for whatever time it is difficult? you’d have thought she would have thought of that.
i moved here for 8 weeks whilst pg with bb and chris and sb in leeds. horrible, but did it as at that time, this was a good job!
think some game playing going on somewhere!!

That was a bit shocking.
Perhaps she did it so she could sue the arse off him? If it truly is a job interview there’s no way he can ask her those sort of questions.
