We have Chloe’s brush btw. Chloe, SB and M were playing hairdressers in our tent. SB and C discussed different parental hair brushing techniques, but we are apparently both OK at it [rofl!] M thought her parent could do with some lessons [rofl rofl rofl]
this was relayed to me this morning as I put SB’s hair in a bun, so veracity cannot be authenticated.
And I have unfolded monster’s picture of a dalek he drew for me so that I can put it in my office. Thankyou.
BB and Josie were being very friendly, and hopefully will be a good pairing in the future. Joanna got the only triplet shot though – so waiting for that on flickr!
Actually SB did play with a wide range of people, which is lovely to see considering I was always so entirely hopeless. Hero worship of Violet continues, with a secondary place going to Abbie. SO she was delighted to stay up late at the fire with Violet as well as Chloe and M. Her previous camp strong friends also remain strong friends, and she was sad that Barbara’s oldest wasn’t there.
It’s M’s hairbrush as apparently Clo couldn’t find ours (which turned out to be in the bag where I said it was). My hairbrushing technique can involve a bit of shouting to SIT STILL although she’s got better as she’s got older. Can’t imagine you do the same.
We missed Barbara’s eldest too.
moderation? what is it with your blog?????
No, I told SB the first time she winged, moaned, cried about tangles hurting, or didn;t have her hair brushed nicely, I was going to cut it back to a bob. And she knows absolutely that I would.
SHe has never, therefore, made a peep of complaint, however awfully tangled it has been. bless.
i am therefore really careful when I brush to try and stop it from hurting. I brush in segments very carefully. you apparently brush with Chloe’s head tipped back from the front to the back – also v carefully.
M? A Puddle child?
I doubt Gwenny would say anything nice about my hair-brushing technique, but I would submit that it’s her hair that’s the problem, not me, lol, as the other 2 seem to manage ok.
no, doug’s eldest!
Monster has never had a hair brush, Teeny is getting better about it as she gets older and wants to keep her hair long so has to endure about a twice weekly (if we remember) brush. We didn’t even bring a hairbrush to camp as two of us never use one and two of us rarely bother :). Actually we sort of have a reciprocal agreement here as the only time my hair ever gets brushed is when Teeny does it and the only time hers ever gets brushed is when I do it, so it’s in both our best interests to be gentle-ish!
Ah, *that* M!
I really don’t understand how Teeny’s hair stays so untangled. My girls look like crusties after one night’s sleep.
Said something that got modded.
