catch up violin practice abandoned as lost the spare violin strings and so have ordered some from here. Hopefully will arrive quickly as we need to practice our carols! Oh well, the play room is lovely and tidy now anyway.

how did she manage to break a string?! surely it’s quite a difficult thing to do? or should I have some spares in the house at all times?
We’re madly practicing carols too, as the suzuki group is going busking on 22nd. Amazed how much progress I’ve noticed – last year Joe was only able to play Away in a Manger and O Little Town, this year he can play loads. Whether he actually manages to pull off the confidence needed to join in with the group is an entirely different matter though!
well, she opend the case and it was pinged. now, not sure if anything has pinged it in the interim… so i have bought 2 full sets from bonners – after all, expecting bb to need them one day, and they fit on 1/4 and 1/2.
well done to Joe! we are just going to make a 2 string simplified jingle bells and some other version i have yet to write!
