chris and girls had productive shopping trip, huying loads of mackerel to dissect on wed. the fishmonger offered to gut, but we have asked for guts intact. i am hoping to have an assistant if anyone can bear it!!
SB did some verbal reasoning, french [l'art de lire] and golf practice. BB did lots of weighing and measuring. SB also had ballet.
Some watching of horrible histories and ‘mary on the prairie’ as it is called here. SB read something that unsettled her and came down crying about death and dying, so we snuggled up watching the ‘cehmistr: a volatile history’ as recommended by merry, and we loved it. we are so going to try to get the equipment to catch hydrogen and oxygen!

I’m happy to assist. Will try and remember to bring knives/scalpel.
thankyou!! i don’t think merry will be up to it, Katy otherwise engaged and i think Gina not so enamoured either! have plenty of diagrams to bring.
I think I’ll be -very- busy doing lots and lots of music. Possibly upstairs or in the workshop, or wherever doesn’t smell too fishy Thank you both, though, for doing this. I know it’s one I wouldn’t get round to doing at home and it saves having to nag Dave.
BB is really loooking forward to it. She was telling me earlier how she really likes it becuase you get to ‘Cut, cut , cut cut !’
