Meanwhile at home…..

I realised today just how much time/energy/thought I?ve been expending on the house sale/move preparations, for what is literally months. I?ve not been able to feel I could relax into a day without thinking, must do this, should have done that etc. I think my time with Stringbean has suffered a bit because of this. So it was good to have all that behind us (I can ignore all the stuff that still needs unpacking/sorting?.) and just enjoy the day. I?ve not really been responsible for them both all day yet except for a couple of occasions, and then H wasn?t far away. So it will be interesting how that works out.

Morning of course saw Helen off for her first day back at work, so that was on the whole a bit sad, though also a bit exciting, as it really marks the start of a new period in our lives. It?s a real shame though that we didn?t get moved earlier and Helen have more time at home down here. Packed Nanny and Grandad off a bit later as well, leaving me and the Beans to our own devices. Butterbean had some Pear puree for breakfast, seems to be happily starting on the weaning so far.

After 4 days of moving, sorting etc. decided it was time to get out. So went round the corner to the village library to join up. The library was closed a few years ago by the County Council, but then taken over and run by volunteers from the village (mostly it seems, as so often with these things ?ladies of certain age?). Not entirely sure of the setup, they have their own stock, as well as some from the Library Service, but also still use the same cards and computer system as the County Library service. Anyway seems a nice little library, the Beans got plenty of appreciate comments, they had their monthly coffee/tea/booksale thing on, and also a Storytime for the kiddies. So that was good, Stringbean enjoyed that, got to play with one of the other little girls, and I got to meet a few other parents, including another Dad. Half a dozen stories read, and then a little craft activity.. Stayed at the end (we were going to get some books anyway) and helped tidy up, got chatting to the women who had done the readings and another dad – who lives just down the road from us. Got a ?pop round for coffee? type invite, so will follow that up sometime.

?Came out? about our HE intentions, as there was some discussion regarding the position if you don?t want to send your child to school ?early? when they are 4 but defer the place and wait until they are 5. It had been suggested that the school/LEA would just want to put them into the year 1 class, bypassing Reception anyway, which may miss the point of not sending them early, and then there is the issue of getting a place ? yes you could just wait until the relevant time, but then they might not get a place in the school they wish ? hence the desire to get a place and then defer it. Of course discussion came round to what SB would be doing, so I just came clean :-) Apparently there is someone else in the village HE?ing.

So books got, headed home via the local shops (Butterbean in ?big? pushchair + Stingbean with her dolly pushchair = chaos in small shops?..) Picked up a ?treat? for us all for later in the rather-to-convenient bakery opposite our house ? will have to try to avoid making a habit of that :-) Had lunch (mostly carrot sticks and olives for SB, Butterbean had a bit of bottle, but not that impressed with it all really). After reading all the library books took them both for a visit to their new nursery they will be attending 2 days a week, as expected they both got on fine, so that was good. It seems a nice place, staff are friendly, but they have plenty to live up to in our eyes compared to the last place :-) I used the time for various boring shopping tasks ? like a whirly gig thing for the washing then home to meet Mummy, cue much feeding from Butterbean, and reading, Webland etc. for Stringbean while I got tea etc.

All in all a good day, though I at least need a time of adjustment here while I settle into things. Tomorrow (well today) we have two going out options, but I think one will do, some time ?just being? in the house will be good as well.

Jax’s photo meme

here we go, a day in the life of us!

See the photos in this album

Woke up with the distinct impression that I may have mumps, but didn’t let that put me off! [v sore neck and bit of a temp]
SB rather keen on the photo idea, and took rather a number of them as well. today was v child led. SB usually just coming up with ideas, but offered choices if stumped.

Cuddles in bed – always a good start to the day!

SB helps change BB nappy – slave labour! Didn’t fancy baby massage today.

09:00
BB then has waggle practice while SB and I read a book. She then reads book to BB when BB on tummy practice.

10:00
came down for breakfast – rice crispies. BB wanted to play as well, so went and chose 2 ‘match and sort’ books – maths. Also had some manipulatives.

This followed on into measuring, and heaviest/lightest. Also that due to cheap nature of scales, the position the cubes were placed in affected their weight – in the heavier further from fulcrum idea [ can i call this mechanics??] The post arrived, and we cut up various bits of rubbish.

11:00 SB wanted to be a princess. So we dressed up, and I did her hair. Then she decided to be a doctor princess. So listened to each others hearts and lungs

On listening to our tummies, we decided mine was rumbly – as some great coincidence I had an usbourne why do we eat book out, so we read that, and decided to do the taste test experiment – which was an absolute hit. We had sugar and choc drink powder and custard powder as sweet, stock cube and salt for salty, tartar powder as sour, coffee as bitter. Also cinnamon and turmeric. Bicarb of soda truly foul!!

12:00 veg soup for lunch followed by orange.

13:00 to tots group until 15:00 – water play, fun and singing time. BB was delighted by SB bouncing her in the bouncer – though she did nearly ping out once!

Chris came home and was subjected to the taste test again, and SB played BTB. I felt decidedly crap so had a nap. Chris forgot to take piccies.

I returned and looked at blogs – SB commented on Sarah’s. Prob shoudn’t have let her, as she seems to have done the same to Jax without us knowing – sorry.

we looked at different coins with her bug magnifier, and then to bed.

chris will now link this to the photo album [nudge chris!!]

You wish is my command…..

you’ve heard the best , here’s the rest…………

Obviously the best was hearing exchange has finally happened, and completion planned for 29th April. Somewhat later than I desired, as wanted to settle a bit in new area before return to work, but at least before start date!

So the rest, well we all got up early today – something to do with sun streaming through the windows. BB required a night feed again – think its cos as 21 weeks and still exclusively breastfed, getting the munchies a bit more often. I think as we are still not getting very far with al sorts of different expressed milk delivery systems, that we will introduce solids the weekend before I start work [23 weeks], so at least something can go in. Letting milk slosh in and round everywhere is the most successful technique, but due to the move, I have none frozen, and so every drop precious! i would hope not to have to supplement with formula while i am at work, but I am going to have to be a bit pragmatic about it. I am already expressing once in the evening, and although only obtaining 4-5 oz, could do more, and will aim for about 8 on return to work, plus a lunch express at work of about 6 should give us 5 3oz bottles per day while I am out, and I’ll do massive feeds when at home. if I get a 4 day week, am secretly hoping for Wed off [well thats what i suggested] as that breaks up the days I’m away nicely, and I think will make it less likely that formula supplement needed. I love the milky/toffee smell of exclusively bf babies though – BB burping over me!

BB not so sqwawky today. In our morning, after SB gone to nursery [she cycled there uphill with Daddy – PE] she had a nice bath and massage and then a long waggling sessions. She’s thinking of how to roll over – though not actually done it, and has much better co-ordinated arm and length movts. Sitting is a great skill now, as is stuffing anything in her mouth! cooing and ra-ing at me i think she is going to be a talker like her sister!

Picked SB up from nursery and took to gingerbread cottage – my last ever [ and hers] new mums. [socialisation, PE] next tues nursery has a party, so she will be doing that instead. We first met when SB 11 weeks old, and have been meeting every Tues since then – though I am a bit more erratic! its pretty much 4 years exactly. Its very sad to say goodbye to such a good support group, though my need for it has gone. I found SB a bit stressful, and they were my sanity link, as I realised all the children were stressful in one way or another, and we were all just trying! We come from all walks of life – as the saying goes, with v differing views on every issue pretty much, but in spite of that, struck up good friendships and been regular features in each others lives. The children have played well together [on the whole, after all none of them are perfect!]. I would just like to take this opportunity to register a vote of thanks to the lot of them for all the friendship and tacit support – even when they must have thought I was mad [cloth nappies - though other users with second children - LOL; planned extended breastfeeding - though others did by default; a certain amount of continuum concept parenting, and finally home-ed - you get the drift]. Not that they read my blog – though have given the address in case they fancy seeing what we are doing. Most have no internet access. thankyou to their children – SB’s playmates through the years as well. life goes on, some threads are renewed, some replaced, but we are glad for the time we have shared.

On return, SB in odd mood – prob partly due to mine, partly as she was aware last time she would see some of these friends, and partly due to lack of sleep over weekend still. We calmed down by seeing what Daddy doing in the garage, some education city – as we haven’t signed up, they have extended the trial – persistant lot aren’t they! We have done foundation year and first for science, though SB happy to do some again, potteres through most of foundation maths, and a lot of foundation english. cbeebies on the internet and the bananas in pyjamas website as well. SB certainly has the letters off pat in upper and lower case, with prompting can do a bit of ordering, usually recognises first and last letters and can sound out. just awaiting that spark! [aside – a momentary rather overwhelming pang that in all likelihood it will be chris that sees this eureka moment] I think we will be passing on education city as the summer is coming, and we are far more outdoorsy then, BB more mobile, so not so sofa tied – after all chris not breastfeeding. [this going back to work crap]. will keep the link and rethink perhaps in future years.

Whistling has progressed, and SB v keen on this new skill. Oh she took her bridesmaid photos to nursery as she was so proud of it – bless. Actually her musicality as a whole has improved. while singing she is much more likely to stay close to pitch, and her violin playing getting more structured – last played on friday, as didn’t blog, and she usually puts bow in the right place, and with the right pressure to get notes. Also we practiced putting fingers on the strings in different places to change notes. We are gradually getting a bit of formality in, bit by bit so that imperceptibly we are moving towards actually learning rather than messing [music]. She is also happy to have classic fm on rather than her own song cd’s in the car – blessed relief!

After bath was slightly stressful as she was unsettled, whingy and just not right. however, cuddles and stories and CD and she has fallen asleep by 8.30. BB just fallen asleep, so I guess I should do some sorting for move

I can whistle

SB is really happy about this latest skill, its a bit erratic, but there is no doubt that she can whistle. We have been practising on and off all day.

Thought I’d have a play day today, so we started off by reading in bed together – umpteen stories! [literacy] and playing with BB, who was waggling nappy free [always a gamble!][childcare and development – lol]. This is paying off, as SB really getting the hang of entertaining BB without being dangerous, and loves the smiles and giggles she gets back. Def fostering closeness I think. This actually took us to nearly 10 0 clock, so a quick breakfast and we then played with the marble run bedore heading out. It has taken SB longer than I anticipated to grasp that the marbles will only run downwards, not jump back up again!

We then headed off to National museum of photograpy etc. in Bradford for a home-ed group imax venture – a 2D grand canyon. We failed to find a parking space so had to run like the clappers uphill pushing buggy [god, how I hate running!] SB found this hilarious. We missed the first 10 or so mins, but they still let us in, and we enjoyed it. the cinematography was at times breathtaking – well the subject is partic telegenic! SB decided we wouldn’t go down in a boat, but fancied the micralite! I fancied the whitewater rafting – but not with SB! [geography]. At one point in the filming I had SB on one knee, and BB was bf lying on other knee rugby hold, and I had 2 of the stewards behind. I wonder what they made of it! Both girls were transfixed though. SB gave me a running commentary [luckily remebering to be sotto voce a lot of the time!] When we left, we managed to go a diff way to everyone else, so didn’t get to meet up – though a brief hello to Sarah in the auditorium.

[aside, SB just down from her bath, and still has rice crispies in her hair! she’s sitting in my whiskey hole [ie where the cat likes sitting] and is watching ‘what the victorians did for us’ [history]]

Anyway, we then had a pootle through the museum. We particularly enjoyed the animation bit, and the studio bit – SB thought the ‘magic carpet’ was particularly good, and seeing herself on telly. We didn’t look at the museum in any kind of structured or ed way, but just let whatever caught SB’s imagination lead us – wierd at times, partic amongst the old cameras. We treated ourselves to a cafe pitstop before going home.

At home we were going to do a bit of a collage of grand canyon images [we'd been discussing it in the car], but I went up to change the poopiest bot in the universe and when I came down, there were cards and sparkly bits everywhere[craft]. Not quite as everywhere ]as when BB of the now clean bot launched herself at a pot of sparkly stars and strew them imaginatively everywhere in the kitchen! the people who move into our house are going to wonder just how glitter and sparkles got into so many nooks and crannies.

[BB now lying in whiskey hole, have had lovely long phone call with my friend S – hello if you’re reading!]

A bit of education city – french which was too advanced for now, but adaptable, and maths. [languages, maths] We wont be taking up the subscription, though I do like it due to the unnecessary expense at this stage. Mind you, SB also gets it worng on purpose to see what actions are going to happen. I think the frequent offer to print off a certificate annoying, as we got through loads of unnecessary paper – ah well, can write lists on the back! Sb whistled some more!

[ aside – In fact, my June list is likely to be a June next year list. A chance remark on an email back from my secretary [!!!] says that compensatory leave [as in day off after a night shift] has been cancelled for consultants due to increased registrars, so no longer resident. now although in the future I will be much happier being on call from home; at the moment I really prefer having the day off afterwards to spend with children, and this day off was half of the compressed hours scheme for a 4 day week – so screwed things up a bit. WHY DON’T PEOPLE TELL YOU when they are changing your job so massively?? So I can either continue on with the 4 day week thing with loss of pay and then not really be able to afford house, or stay at a 5 day week. I can’t now bear either option. So, have decided to blunder ahead and join Gill on the foraged food and beans on toast diet until things improve. If they don’t bugger about too much more, in 2 years we may return to even keel, and start paying off whatever further debts accrued. Ah well. And I budgeted so well!! Obviously this is assuming they actually accept my flexible working proposal!]

Just watched that evolution prog and quite enjoyed it. chris videoed it, as i am threatening withdrawal of tv and broadband – guess which will hit us the worst!

no thoughts again, mad budgeting panics! Comes from being a wanting it all woman. I’m sure it will all settle out. It really is the loss of those days that hits me though. Otherwise, we had a really fun day, and I managed to put it to back of mind. SB really enjoyed the museum, even though we managed not to socialise at all! The day in fact whizzed past.

Today/Yesterday

Well we did recover to some extent from the shattered night. Sb being at nursery at the morning was certainly helpful. I cuddled and played with BB – who is really showing a personality now. She is a happy smiley girl, who likes boisterous play. It is nice to have this one to one time with her, when SB isn’t the prime focus!

I picked SB up from nursery after lunch to go to Sunnybanks soft play centre with my postnatal group and her friends. Slightly delayed as I had to provide some first aid to someone who had fallen badly in the middle of the road and couldn’t get up! I don’t think anything broken, but knee very swollen, so ambulance to A and E.

Anyway all 3 of us had fun, me chatting and drinking tea, SB haring around with her mates, and BB being a flirt smiling at all and sundry, and being passed around for cuddles. SB is such a chipmunk – she was climbing up the outside of the cagey bits [whatever the mesh is called] and inciting the others to follow. i persuaded her to come down, as although she seems to have the footing of a mountain goat, she isn’t supposed to be there, and some of her friends were certainly a lot more nervous – though they did follow! [socialisation, PE]

On our return we made fresh veg risotto together – SB cutting up the french beans, and peeling and cutting the carrots. Not all the frozen peas and sweetcorn made it in, as she has a real thing about eating frozen veg! It tasted delicious. We also put beetroot in it, as there was some in the organic veg box – really pretty as white and red rings, but didn’t have the taste, and SB didn’t like it anyway! [cooking]. Chris took BB for a walk to the postbox – oh I do like the sunny weather!

We then had a look at education city – already previewd by Sarah and Joyce following June’s recommendation. Yes, we are the sheep!! Anyway, we signed for a 5 day trial of foundation and year 1. the foundation science games we played today were fun and a bit easy. nice butterfly and frog lifestyle game. We also did some of the reception english. SB really improving, she can easily spot first sound, and often last in a spoken word. Didn’t try the maths or french – will perhaps try tomorrow. [science, IT, literacy]

We took dolly into the bath tonight – so floor resembles a flood plain! Dolly not alot cleaner for her dunking, even if wetter. C0uple of books and a Mog CD for bed tonight. BB now being a little bit grizzley at mo in Chris’s arms – having just shown no interest in feeding.

Yesterday Quick Update

i went to see friends and their gorgeous new baby. An emergency caesarean at fully dilated perhaps not the birth plan, but he was over 10lb! Feeding well, though all night and Sarah looks shattered. Start of the great adventure. Explained the ‘this too will pass’ principle – LOL

Thoughts: return to work all too imminent, and not heard one way or ‘tother about 4 days rather than 5. I am not discarding my children like cheap jewelry or robes, but making difficult life choices with my family unit’s best interests at heart.

Blessings and Bright Sparks

Yesterday was my birthday – thankyou well wishers, i had a lovely day.

SB made me a picture frame with a picture of her, BB and me in it, and also a lovely birthday picture with sparkles and jewels. She had obviously spent a lot of time and thought on it, and its very precious. I also had breakfast in bed – very nice!

We had a read of usbournes lift the flap homes – comparing various styles of ancient homes with modern. Also a bit more of the Usbourne time travellers egyptian section. [history]

We visited the SOTP IRL for Jan’s motherblessing. I had bead and poem, but decided my knitting not up to it! The children all got on v well – and there was a lot of noise! Jax, kirsty and Barbara also there as well as others of Jan’s friends. i thought it was lovely, and belly cast stunning beautiful when all glittered up. Thankyou for a lovely day – also for my birthday cake and lovely coffee!! [socialisation]

Today I’ve not seen so much of SB, and really missed her 1000 questions, though did then get to have a really good day with BB attentionwise, and do some jobs!

Chris took SB for a long walk to Adel crags and some rock climbing. I passed for some BB time and catch up – after all she did wake up at 5-ish and had fed hugely since. Chris might blog that?

On return, after lunch [bb on toast] we were all going outside to do gardening. Sb and I talked about various languages, she recognises french easily – the language tilly speaks, and German – and indeed counted to 12 in german without hitch as she was to have 8 more mouthfuls, but got carried away! on asking her to say hello, she said buongiourno [? spelling] – well we are learning a few words for our italian hol on a german run campsite, so a bit of both. We discussed what words she thought she would like to be able to say, and unprompted came out with hello, goodbye, please, thankyou and I am SB. We also decided to learn can I have an icecream. [languages]. This was sparked off by a gift of a german recipe magazine for children from the SOTP crew – thankyou.

BB was happy under apple tree in pram with toys, weather was gorgeous. Chris was banished to shed tidying duty. SB and I were to decide which plants to divide. However the lure of Molly next door was too great, so she spent most of the afternoon next door with Molly helping her weed – mostly relocating worms though from the sound of it! [ gardening] SB is *really* going to miss Molly, as are we. She and husband Terry make ideal neighbours, friendly, helpful, giving etc.

I divided some hellebores, pulmonaria, cowslips and white dicentra. I think I may relocate these spare plants. Also a paeony and a camellia which look ‘unhappy’. I sat on my bench in the shade garden I made[clearing made by my dad] with BB on lap. BB loved the wind and the tree moving, she giggled and laughed. It was nice giving her undivided attention and playing, like I have sat there and played with SB. I cried. Dad made the clearing for me to sit in shade with SB for her first summer. I think moving to me at the moment feels like losing these moments of family history, that SB babyhood will be saying here in leeds when we move. This might be why I am relocating elements of the garden. However all SBs friends and the friends I inevitably will lose touch with are those that have known us in this precious time of my life, and I am so reluctant to let go and grab the future.

So I was very happy when SB rejoined us and gave a display of twirling and twizzling on the climbing frame. [PE] She really is a bright spark. We then painted her volcano on the grass, discussed lava and magma, and had lots of black ash! [geography, craft]

A bit of jostling as I fed BB [who really didn't sleep a lot today] and we did some games on the cbeebies [IT]. Dinner was what chris would call crap food! lattices [shop bought], jacket potatoes and mixed veg. We also had white wine as only enough fizzy water for SB – what an excuse! SB and BB enjoyed their bath together, and SB was delighted at wheeler dealering 3 stories out of me – she thinks she has been so clever, truth is I love reading them, as we lie in bed together snuggled together on our tummies – bliss! She fell asleep while I sang from joseph and his technicolour dreamcoat. Heaven!

Unfortunately our cafetiere just deconstructed with coffee in it, so beautiful coffee smell, but contents strewn over worksurface and floor – sigh!

thoughts for the day: moving is crap, friends are important, children are what its all about. Sun is fantastic, coffee is essential!

Rains drops are falling on my head….

A little addition to the day. About 4, after I’d got home from work, me and Stringbean went down to the corner shop (with dolly in pushcair) – only 5 minute walk or so. Weather was ok, though bit cold when we left, just wore our fleece tops, once out of the shop it started chucking it down with cold rain, and even a bit of hail, we were not impressed. SB dealt with it well though and didn’t make a great fuss, cheered on I think by the thought of ‘showing’ mummy her cold hands

We got home bit damp……

Be Calm

Well I am going to go backwards over today, as need to do the rant first.
BLOODY HELL!!!
Well, thats that done!! Our buyers came round this eve to measure up, and apparently they have already exchanged with her buyer, so moving date legally fixed for that completion. Therefore she can do later than 29th april but not earlier.
GOD IN HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!
i REALLY DON’T THINK THIS IS FAIR, AND NOT HOW i THOUGHT A CHAIN WORKED – YES I’M SHOUTING. but will stop now, as its not you lot I am shouting at! Might shout at my solicitor tomorrow, as they say they exchanged 3 weeks ago.
DAMNEN AND BLASTEN

Be Calm

Was stressed out anyway, as have felt crappy, miserable and hermit crab like all day. Forced myself out of house tio go bead shopping [and found 2 in the nice bead shop in cornmarket, but have decided which one I like best now], and also got BB’s photos done for passport. Returned to car to find some total pillock had effectively boxed me in. the multistory has not much space, so i parked next to a pillar, and very close on that side [inches] so that i had enough room to get BB in and out ok. returned to find said wazzock [i actually don't know what this means, just hope it means thick as pigshit yob] had parked over into my space, so that cars were inches apart. How the fuck I was supposed to get in, let alone child I don’t know. Feeling that the sky was falling in I shouted at cars [to no avail] and looked very much as if I might cry. At this point I noticed a wiry boundy kind of lad bounding my way [marfans-ish] and he kindly squiggled through the credit card gap and drove my car out for me. I didn’t look to see whether the pressure from my car door dented the other, but i kinda hope it did. I was so greatful I did cry and thanked wiry lad profusely as he ran away from hormonally challenged madwoman.

Be Calm!

I think I may have got clocked by speed camera as I went 35 on headingley road – buggeration.

Be Calm!!

Other things SB has had a hair cut. we’ve done singapore maths, cbeebies, sock painting etc

message of the day:
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh

Cats and Peas

SB seems to be swearing??? When things don’t go quite right, she says ‘oh..cats and peas’. i take it this must come from sone programme or film other children she comes into contact have watched, as I’ve never head it anywhere.

Yesterday was another party day, this time her friend Z. He had his at a church hall, with a clown, so they did some juggling and played with a parachute. Also SB got her face painted as a ballerina. The clown was getting a bit fractious towards the end, possibly due to some overenthusiastic throwing by a couple of the young boys. [more socialisation!]

I did a quick nip to Asda to buy food for a meal I’m cooking tonight. forgot the lasagne sheets, so its going to be a pasta bake! Had a good look, and couldn’t find any black leggings, as she needs some for stagecoach. Will have to go into town then at some point – sigh! Meanwhile SB and BB were out in the garden with Chris, possibly helping shed tidying, but when I got back they were having tea and biscuits with our next door neighbours.

new webland out, so we romped through that, SB though song was dire, and I have to agree! [IT, general knowledge]

On the house front, the contracts all came through for us to sign, and I guess that then makes us exchange ready, and presumably completion ready – at last!!

thought for the day – do not do noisy childs party, and then very full sat asda in succession if you wish to keep will to live!!

PS i have just heard her tell Chris I am a silly old cow. hmmmm time to move!

There and Back Again

i did make the conference in the morning, but when the AGM started decided that that was enough, so went with Family to Glasgow Science centre instead. [science]

It is really excellent. Well reccommended to anyone! SB had a great time with the myrad of exhibits. chris and I particularly taken by a tabard that you then stuck organs onto. never made it to the top!

A bad move was to see alien adventure at the IMAX there. SB loved it, and BB seemed to be enjoying it, but I have motion sickness, and it seems that the only thing worse than being on a roller coaster is being in a 3D representation of one – so I had my eyes shut for most of it!

We finished with the Dessy Duck guide to the moon etc at the planetarium – which SB thought was the best bit. I would have enjoyed the adult one I think! Anyway, for all those going Glasgow way, we can recommend the tall ship and the science centre!

So was the day perfect?? Well no. Chris left digicam in the baby changing room. Arrghh!! Luckily it had been handed in, so he is still alive. then, after a bit of a long drive home, he reversed into the gatepost at a fair lick. Bodycoloured bumpers are a crap idea aren’t they? And ours needs replaceing – but will have to be at indeterminate point in future. Red water bill finished the day off nicely!

Actually, we did do some Exeter maths – SB used that to put me off making her go to bed! [maths], and through the journey also played alot of I spy – which at last SB getting the hang of, so can alternate that with the interminable guess that sign game! [english]

thought of the day when in doubt about work, bunk off!!!! Well, since in the end they decided not to pay me any study leave, so this was completely me funded, I had no guilt feelings in altering my priorities for the day!

Edit by Chris 00:31 SB still awake  , and quick piccie:

You have received photos from Adobe Photoshop Elements

Will sort out some photos properly, but just can’t resist this one, BB in the Imax glasses :-)
