I refuse to show people around myself. I go out and make the agents earn their money. Have always sold much quicker this way!

Having been shown round dozens of houses by agents as a potential buyer, I have to say I’d take the opposite view, and wouldn’t allow them the chance to botch it up. I’ve found them completey uninspired, lacking in vision, and completely uninterested. One was so bad, we actually told the sellers, even though we didn’t want the house.

I tend toward Joyces view, after various viewing the other week in huntingdon, I found the agents who did some lacked much info about the house and never really ’sold’it.
