went ok, house fairly presentable, but garden needs a bit more attention! they were fairly non-commital, so prob not buyers, but hopefully they will leave some feedback to help with next viewing. After all, what do you say about a house??

I refuse to show people around myself. I go out and make the agents earn their money. Have always sold much quicker this way!
sounds like A good idea
Having been shown round dozens of houses by agents as a potential buyer, I have to say I’d take the opposite view, and wouldn’t allow them the chance to botch it up. I’ve found them completey uninspired, lacking in vision, and completely uninterested. One was so bad, we actually told the sellers, even though we didn’t want the house.
I tend toward Joyces view, after various viewing the other week in huntingdon, I found the agents who did some lacked much info about the house and never really ‘sold’it.
well, i guess the agent will be doing it when we are at melrose
