they look good – our kits just didn’t work at all but I don;t think we saturated the solution. Have borax now to try again at some point.
This was slighty different version.
You have a piece of Limestone, pour in some vinegar, almost covering the Limestone. Acid reacts with the Limestone (cue discussion about CO2) . Then as the remaining solution evaporates it deposits the crystals on the lump of limestone
