  1. Have read a few of these so far – the Cambs one was so full of jargon, I could barely understand it. The one from the exHEor/teacher was so holier than thou – yuck. Liked the Family Education Trust’s comments though, they seem very sensible!

  2. i thought doncaster looked like a particularly good place to HE!! rofl. but cambridge when decoded sounds as fearsome actually

  3. Hmm, take back that sensible comment, having looked at their website!

  4. hmm yes. makes us all start to seem quite normal!

  5. We recently read an article by Sean Gabb on truancy in the UK (feeble computer skills mean I can’t put the link in!). We are currently unknown and I had always assumed that should we become known we would peacefully submit to their yearly inspections. However, having read the article and having realised how much more the law is on our side than we had thought ,we now feel very determined to refuse all their hoops. It’s an interesting article.

  6. Yes, that’s the one.
