hugs and sisterly love

it takes quite a while to drive to oxford! especially if you fill up at south mimms, forget your pin and have no other means of paying… SB says she was  very worried [i had her with me to buy a drink - bb with chris at home] but chap was very friendly, and after some negotiation, SB looking worried, me groveling and apologetic we got to leave.

Sis was positive and upbeat, SB played beautifully with E. i took lunch and cake, and we just talked. uneventful drive back, with SB and I nattering about allsorts there and back again. I do so love SB.
we forgot about pancake day mind you. BB i think has had fun today, and was certainly pleased to see me when i got back.

  1. um, if you forget your pin you’re supposed to be allowed to sign for it aren’t you?

enjoyed our chat last night, must do that again soon.

  2. It’s up to the seller. If they take a signature and no PIN they have to carry the risk of it being a fraudulent transaction.

  3. I suppose Helen looks and sounds like someone who might be faudulent, especially splashing out on a drink for her child.

  4. I think you could be forgiven for forgetting about pancake day yesterday.

  5. Glad to hear your sister was feeling upbeat and you were finally able to see her. I went to the shop yesterday without my wallet! Luckily enough I noticed before I got too far–thank goodness Kieran needed a tissue!
