Aargh to Ballet

As not sure that SB will pass this, but she wants to take it at least now as practice. I videoed pretty much the whole lesson today, and chris and i are going to teach her every day all week. I am not bothered about how well she does, but I would actually love her to pass!

Thing is, when others are doing the steps, she is dizzy and in a world of her own as well, so doesn’t learn by watching – and prob dizzies it all out of her head.

She loves and enjoys ballet though, and i hope that she still loves and enjoys it after the exam.

  1. awww! Hope she does ok :)

  2. I hope that the exam doesn’t interrupt her enjoyment, and also that you can help her with the steps.

  3. Hope she stops focusing soley on the result and starts to just enjoy the dance again.

  4. well, i think at the mo she hasn’t really got too worked up. i am just concerned that if she does fail – which the ballet teacher thinks is a possibility! that she will be put off ballet – she has no confidence in herself at the moment

  5. I remember feeling like that about one or two of Anna’s music exams but somehow she always manages to pull the performance out of the bag – really hope SB can do the same as I can imagine it would be a knock if she did fail.

  6. fingers and toes crossed here! small girls and fragile self confidence issues seem to go hand in hand don’t they
